Project TEAMS
Working directly in middle and high school special education classrooms, Project TEAMS trainers coach students in -- Transition, Employment, Advocacy, Mentoring, Self-Determination -- using the TAKE CHARGE for the FUTURE curriculum that highlights self-determination in planning for the future. The students develop skills such as self-advocacy, problem solving, dreaming about the future, setting short and long term goals, asking for support, and most importantly, believing in themselves as they prepare to TAKE CHARGE of their future. The purpose of the Project TEAMS website is to provide students, parents and educators with a central location for resources addressing Transition, Employment, Advocacy, Mentoring, and Self-Determination.

Richie McFarland Children's Center
The goal of RMCC is to help young children reach their full developmental potential and to support their families through that process. We provide developmental and support services for children with special needs, assistance to their families and assistance in the use of community and health resources. We provide early intervention (pediatric therapies) to children age birth to three years who have been identified with a developmental delay or disability. Conditions can range from speech delays to autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome and seizure disorders. Therapeutic services include speech therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and educational therapy. We also provide a variety of parent support and education programs.
